Modernize Niagara
Modernize Niagara aims to build a better Niagara starting with a referendum question on the October 2022 election ballot. As we progress, With the changes through the past years in numbers of people, new and changing transit, more people moving into our dynamic region, it is more important than ever to solicit change for the Region.
Referendum Question
Are you in favour of the Council of the Regional Municipality of Niagara passing the necessary resolutions and bylaws to change the method of selecting its Chair from appointment by members of Regional Council to election by general vote of all electors in the Region?
